I come home after work today to find that I have a 50$ bill from my own employer, an HCA hospital. It was from late December. I remember receiving a single bill for it at some point in March, but had multiple subsequent health issues back to back, and it slipped my mind.
The for-profit machine sent it to collections.
The bill never showed up on MyChart as being due. I work literally down the hall from the billing department.
What the fuck. Suck a dick, HCA. I would have paid this bill without the fear of a credit collections agency, you assholes.
