Hi, I'm currently studying and have recently been giving thought as to what kind of nurse I want to be, and I realised that being a military nurse appeals to me more than working as a nurse at a hospital. I am greatly interested in what is involved as a military nurse, but until I come to my own conclusion with the decision, I would like to ask the military nurses who have strong ties to their family - how difficult is it when being stationed/deployed away from your family? I know it would be very difficult, but as someone who values spending time with my family, I would like to receive insight on whether it would only be a mistake to take that route.
