I work in home healthcare, making ~8 visits per day to homes of patients recently discharged. Some are COVID recovery patients, others are not. I work for a private agency that isn’t affiliated with hospital systems.
Does anyone know how the COVID vaccine prioritization will go regarding non-hospital nurses? Do I reach out to my company’s HR staff to see if they applied to receive vaccines? Will I be able to get it through the DOH or something? Have any nurses in non-hospital settings been told when they will be able to get the vaccine, and are we still considered a top priority group?
I am in NYC if that matters. Thank you!
