I'm looking to get my bsn bc I've been having so much trouble finding a job in nyc, even with more than a decade experience in long term behavioral, Medsurg, stepdown, and icu. However I've tried online classes before, specifically GCU's online rn to bsn. I hated it. I hated the constant forum question answer and comment. It just seemed so vacuous. "I appreciate your comment regarding such and such. I agree it's important to blah blah". I didn't feel like I was actually getting educated. I even took their community nursing course 3 times! Each and every time I quit after several weeks, the last one when I only had less than a month left. But I couldn't stand the forum discussions.
So my question is for those who went took the capella online rn to bsn. How was your experience? How quickly can you get your online bsn if you took as many classes as you can at the same time?
If there are any who went and took their online bsn elsewhere, please tell me if your program was quick or easy.
