30 years old here and I am enrolled in college for the first time ever to start in fall. I pick classes tomorrow at orientation. I decided to go back to school because I've never done it and I want to better my future. I'm a PCA for a child currently and have been doing it maybe 6 months. I go to their home and it's almost like baby sitting it takes good and strong mental health and patience. I always pondered work in a health care setting but so unsure of what direction and honestly I would rather not be in school more than a couple years at most. I graduated highschool but I struggled a lot in math especially and was in a lot of special Ed classes. I received some advice that if I'm curious about nursing / or health care that I should try CNA or something along those lines? Do you have any advice if that should be considered before diving into school? Thanks!
