Mistakes as a new nurse

Post Body

Hey everybody,

I just cracked a year of nursing. I made a lot of mistakes and i for sure have learned from them. Long story short a new nurse in my cohort (new grad residency) received a number of MIDAS reports. And I had heard that all of the mistakes she made was traceable to me. I’m sitting hear wondering surely it can’t. ALL of it was on me? Is she not taking accountability? Did I really just fuck up that much? I don’t really know.

I might be called into a meeting, and if I do how should I approach it? How should explain it? I’m not even sure if all of it was really my fault.

Appreciate the advice in advance 🫶🏽
