This is going to upset a lot of people, but it needs to be said on genuinely think it will help many of you that are reading this. Stop complaining and crying about nursing school being hard. What did you expect? There isnât a medical field of study that you can just sit through and breeze right by without any hard work and stress. I see so many people saying that their mental health just couldnât take the school and now they have to find a different career path, and I just think itâs total BS. It seems like everyoneâs first line is âoh no my whole class is doing bad because all of us are experiencing a mental health crisis we canât do this đ.â Itâs literally statistically impossible for everyone in a room to have a mental health illness. Taking exams is stressful, doing anything in life that has a value of importance to yourself can cause stress and cause you to feel anxious. This does not mean that you have a brain issue and that you should just give up. Emotions arenât mental illness. If your dog dies, youâre gonna be sad for a few days, this does not mean you have clinical depression. The same way that if you have a big exam coming up and it makes you feel queasy in your stomach, you donât have chronic anxiety or PTSD. The second thing that irks me is people blaming others for their failure. With access to the Internet, there is absolutely no excuse that you canât learn because you have a bad teacher. The Internet offers every single method of learning at your fingertips/ears/eyes. ITS A HARD PROFESSION. Quit crying, quit bitching, and pick up the textbook or laptop and STUDY. If you do that, itâll be over before you know it.
