I work in cat scan. My boss is asking for help to find ways to facilitate patient flow. As a ct tech, I spend more time wrangling monitor wires than I do scanning patients.

I understand that it’s best practice to have the pulse ox on the opposite extremity as the BP cuff. Is is that big of a deal on most patients that are getting off of the cart and walking to my table?

Any tips or tricks that you all use to help patient flow back and forth to cat scan?
