I'm currently working in homecare. Yesterday I had one client in the morning ask for a "chocolate sprinkle sandwich" plain bread with butter, a thick layer of small chocolate chips and topped with another piece of plain, dry, bread. The next client wanted peanut butter and mayonnaise, gross.
Curious what other odd food requests y'all have seen!
I actually had a patient who emigrated from Portugal in the ER once tell me about the snack they make for their kids all the time that’s peanut butter on one piece of bread, a thick slathering of salted butter on the other piece and a drizzle of honey between the two. Sounded unhealthy and odd, but I tried it and I’ll be dammed if it wasn’t the best thing I’d had in a long while. Haha
