Hey /r/nursing!
I'm currently in my 3rd year of BScN (in Ontario, Canada) and very much wanting to practice in the US, particularly in northern California. I've been told by many people that I absolutely NEED to do a psych rotation to get into the US. Is this true? I understand that I need to do my licensing exam, but I'm wanting to know what other things might be needed to both a) work in your country and b) actually land a job (are there preferences about past clinical experiences for entry-level nursing jobs?).
Thanks!
Best wishes to those going through exam time right now!
