Seriously, I know not everyone is used to dealing with delirious/confused and sometimes combative patients but when someone isn't in their right mind why are you fueling it by getting angry with them? What does that solve? Sometimes I'm genuinely concerned that one of my coworkers is going to hurt a confused patient in retaliation. Anyone else see this a little too often?
I’ve unfortunately SEEN the actual anger boil over into physical harm on a patient once. Reported it and nothing happened. It made me even more upset about it.
