I am looking at doing travel abroad work for short term periods. I have been a nurse now for 5 years and I really have a passion to help others, specifically the less fortunate. I have done some local volunteer work through my church but I’d really like to do nursing volunteer work. I am curious if anyone has places to do 1-3 week volunteer trips for nursing. Does anyone here have experience or good stories to share of companies besides nursing beyond boarders? I checked out their webpage and it seems competitive and limited to what they do. They have 3 ‘plans’ through 2024 right now which doesn’t seem like much. I would ideally like to do 1-2 of these per year. Would love any and all feedback, suggestions, input, etc.
