The other day on my MedSurg floor we are in the middle of rounds and I see that I got a new patient and I had report on the phone for my next new patient as well. I saw the new patient as she was coming in and I knew she has a history of full-blown dementia,getting out of bed,etc so I was worried that I needed to get eyes on her quickly while wasting time doing rounds. my manager bitched at me for going into the new patients room and making sure she was not falling/safe rather than getting on the phone to get report. I swear this lady‘s stupid.😂😂😂

That’s my issue with my management here. They just tell you to do things without offering any support😩 She tried to be passive aggressive toward me but i killed here with kindness😂
