Least amount of time spent in a job before quitting?
Post Body

Iā€™m currently happy with my job. However, this wasnā€™t always the case. When I was an LVN I lasted two shifts before telling my supervisor I wasnā€™t going to come anymore. He wasnā€™t happy but I didnā€™t care. Iā€™m sure I got put on the ā€œdo not hireā€ list from that company. It was an IR placeā€”Iā€™ve never worked for one but they were willing to work with my school schedule. I found so many things wrong with that place in the two shifts but the one event that made up my mind was when the surgeon yelled at me (literally yelled, not exaggerating) how I needed to be available for him whenever he needed me because he was the one saving lives.

I asked the girl who was training me if he did that often. She said thatā€™s just how he was and Iā€™d just have to get used to it. Nopeā€¦ not a chance. I emailed my supervisor before I went home, left the badge at the front desk and never looked back.

Iā€™m curious to read otherā€™s stories on how little they lasted on a job and what made them quit.
