We had student RNs on our floor today, it was their first time ever on clinical.
In short, the teacher was nagging to the students (more like bitching) on how slow and incompetent they were, which was horrible and unprofessional of her. Later on, she took her students in a conference room on the floor, and all we heard was muffled yelling for a couple of minutes before we decided to step in, we see the teacher coming out and bolted for the door in tears.
Some gave the students a thumbs up for not taking any bs like that, but the rest of the staff kept calling them soft brats.
Now that the shift is over, I wish I stepped in before things got out of hand.
Anyone else made their teacher cry?
