Well, all good things comes to an end right? Got the call from HR today that I’m currently on leave without pay for causing a hostile work environment
I’ve seen the good, the bad, and what COVID did to this unit in the last 7 years of my nursing career.
If getting discipline or fire for putting an old nurse and junior nurse in check for trying to make a new grad feel like shit, then let me have it. I’m tire of this high school crap. I don’t care if 100 years ago you were treated worst, please grow out of this. We are short staff and no one wants to double their load. Come to work and leave that salty high ego attitude at home.
Thanks for listening to my vent of the day
Edit: Just letting everyone know I resigned. Wife and I both are nurses but I’m done with this. I was a police officer for 10 years before jumping into the nursing world.
Thanks everyone for the kind words. I guess no more bedside for me. Good luck to all the new nurses.
