I'm very excited about this find so I hope not to be disappointed this time. I'm usually wrong about the coins I find but I think I found the exception. This coin is in pretty decent condition I believe as it still has a bit of its luster and it's nice red tint to it. Now for the obvious, as you can see in the photos, the date is only have there having a strong 19 and a very faint 9 and an even fainter 4. The 4 it barely there at all. In the word Liberty, the L is just a line and then it just skips on to ERTY. I also feel like there is a weird composition to old honest Abe's face as there is a line that goes through his beard into his bow tie. The back side I didn't find anything too special. At least not that caught my eye. Now I know 2 things about this coin. 1 a ms67 goes for about 13000 without any errors and second I know that this particular one has a kind of deep scratch right about the date which I'm not sure how much that would affect it's worth. Any thoughts?
