My (25M) partner and I (26M) like to go to a hot tub garden every other month or so. Each hot tub is private; they have high walls, single changing rooms, etc. So naturally, when my partner and I go alone, we don't wear swimsuits.
We took two of our friends who are also a couple (M27 and M30) a few weeks ago. They really liked it, and expressed interest in going again. However, I could tell that we were all a little uncomfortable changing in front of each other. We ended up going one by one into the tiny bathroom to change, which was a hassle. It felt a little ridiculous. We're all guys, who cares?
My partner I definitely did not like wearing swim suits during that trip. It was just uncomfortable to us at that point after going nude so many times. We talked, and we agreed that we would be comfortable going in the nude next time, as long as our friends were comfortable with it as well. But we don't know how to bring it up in a way that isn't incredibly awkward. I think it's a 50/50 chance on if our friends will be comfortable with it or not.
Any advice on what I should say or the best way to bring it up?
