For all of you that have neighbours close enough to see you, what's the relationship like? Do they love you or hate you?

I have only have two neighbors to each side (no back neighbor) and they couldn't be more different from each other. One neighbor loves us while the other absolutely hates our lifestyle and has even called the cops on us. What's your experience?
