Many years ago , i visited the first nude resort in my life - Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park . it is not nudist park , but Naturist . A question raised in my head , what does naturist mean ? I am a nature lover , I always do my best to recycle , and I try my best to cut down my carbon footprint , my diet mostly vegetables , I also grow vegetable in my backyard , I plant pollinator native plants , I dont use plastic bag , I never use paper towel , and I love and know many wild life /plants and donate to Canada wild life conservation , do I count as "naturist " ? I actually love "naturist " and I think being naked is one of the way to being a naturist . I remember I used to love watching a reality show called " project runway " in someway , I found out the fashion industry is totally controlling the way we dress , do we have to put on clothes ? yes , because we need clothes to keep body warm , but there are way too much clothing in the world and it is turning into a big waste , remember it takes 400 gallons or water to harvest enough cotton to produce one single plain T shirt , and think about washing those shirt , a lot of detergent , hydro and water , and most of the textile dying are toxic chemicals , they are mostly go into our water . the more clothes we make the more pollution , many of the clothes are made in third world countries ( thats where i was born ) and seeing all different dye coloring the rivers and cause all the creatures gone , it is just evil .I think nudity is only one component of being naturist , also we as a human should reconcile with the nature , closer to nature ,learn from nature , respect nature.. I dont know what do you think of being a " naturist " but I think for me , naked is the ideal way to let me closer to nature and the way my natural look , and many time when i visit bare oak , i always feel that was a good name , I am not just nudist but i am trying to be naturist . hey this is my first post here , just happy to find a nudism community , hope to make more nudist friends in my life .
