Still naked when services are done outside of your house?

I have a buddy that is a nudist like me so we were in my hot tub. He was getting his garage fixed by a local company and how one of the guys caught him naked as they walk into his house. They had questions so they had to go in order to ask a question.
He told me that he stood naked the whole time while discussing the question. I felt he should’ve used himself and put on shorts.
He felt it was unnecessary because one he was in his own house , the guy didn’t knock before announcing himself so therefore he didn’t see any fault
I disagree on his stance.. what do you other nudist think?
