In reality, nudity is a natural and normal aspect of human existence. It’s how we are born into this world, and it’s a fundamental part of our biology. Yet, in many parts of the US, the mere sight of a naked body can elicit shock, outrage, or even legal repercussions.
It’s unfortunate that in the US, people are often unable to see nudity for what it truly is: a social construct. Instead of embracing the beauty and diversity of the human body, we continue to perpetuate outdated taboos and shame surrounding nudity.
