I don't know if I am the only that has experienced this, but I am noticing a lot of predatory behaviour with people claiming they are nudists, but are just looking for an excuse to see and get people naked with the intent for sexual activity.
Recently, I posted on another Reddit page a photo of myself and was contacted by a guy. He messaged me about wanting to know more about the local scene, if there were any events and the usual do's and don't's. Making him sound like a newbie within the nudist community. And then he revealed his sexuality. I immediately told him that nudism is NOT about sex and that nudism is about acceptance if he was worried about people judging him on his sexuality. He then told me an explicit fantasy of his to which I told him that it was a complete fantasy and NEVER happens within the community. And that is when he started showing his true colours. He told me that I had a cuddly, fuzzy body and complimented my genitals and then wanted me to go to a Men's only nude bathhouse. I told him I was not interested, but he was persistent and then I blocked him.
I equate this to a serial killer behaviour (like Jeffrey Dahmer) and am sick of these kinds of people giving nudism a bad reputation. We can all agree that nudism is about relaxation and doing regular normal activities without clothes (at least in my opinion). I want to feel safe when I am nude and not objectified by others because I am comfortable without clothes. I won't deny that I have sexual thoughts, but when I am in a nudist setting, I am a nudist first, I am there to relax and enjoy the social aspects of the setting.
Has anyone else experienced something like this? Whether in person or on the internet?
And how did you deal with it?
