For context, I was recently in San Diego for a work trip and visited a popular nude beach while I was there. A coworker asked me which beach I went to, I told him the general area and he guessed which beach. He asked if I saw naked people and I said no. I went back the next day and posted on my Instagram story that I was in the area and he asked me about the beach Again and how it was and mentioned that he’s been down there. I have one coworker who I am particularly close with, outside of work as well. He knows that I frequent nude destinations, and I told him about the interaction with the other coworker. He asked me what I would do if I ran into the other coworker on the nude beach, and it got me thinking. My mindset has always been that if you see someone that you know at a nude destination, you’re both there for the same reason and neither can judge. But how would that apply to a coworker? Would you follow the same procedure as if you saw a coworker out of work while you were clothed? How does being naked in a nudist setting differ from seeing your coworker at the mall? Where is the line of professionalism?
