Honestly - This is a photo we (boyfriend girlfriend) were not sure if to share. The pose was inspired by another photo where the body just looked perfectly round and aesthetic, while our version has much dents and is nothing perfectly shaped at all. It may be because of the light partly, but it’s the body as well. And that’s the reason we are sharing it anyway. Of course, there are people just looking freaky perfect. They have the perfect bmi, the perfect body shape, the perfect amount of muscles, the perfect face… just the perfect everything. But should be nude art really about the beauty of the „perfect“ proportions? There may be beauty ideals in the society. But if a nude art photo is going to make the „beauty statement“, it should be about the self loving aspect, about that every human body is beautiful if treated with love and care, and not about some beauty standards often changing anyway. So we are sharing it, because it does not look perfect. Because the body form is not perfectly round, but unique with all it dents and forms. Because the question if being beautiful is not answered by the society or some strangers but by yourself.
