It's been 2 years now since I first even made a post on this subreddit, I remember exactly what it was. A post on recommendations of what kind of application I should use when making a CYOA. Can you believe it? In a few months it'll be 2 years since I posted on this sub, and 2 years since the creation of Facing Immortality.

I remember what loligagging got me into CYOAs, my friend from discord showed me them over the summer, I'd just gotten out of school, 18 and with a great view on the world (Spoilers: That doesn't change that much) and horny as ever! I read these Nsfw CYOAs shown to me by my friends while browsing reddit itself without even making an account to look at hentai. I decided, heck why not, and made a reddit account, naming it after my favorite thing in D&D, a lich.

My friend then shows me a wonderful subreddit, r/nsfwcyoa and I'm like "Wow, there's a whole subreddit?!" and before I know it Facing Immortality was up and posted, and I was in the discord.

Now we're here, now I'm wondering, what went so right? Meeting everyone here, all these mostly friendly faces, I feel more at home and like a family on this sub than anywhere else. People I've met here have helped me through hard times, good times, and have encouraged me to go beyond plus ultra, and quite honestly that's pretty poggers.
