You enter the room, the light is low, candles cast dancing shadows on the wall. There is a couch facing the door, and a deep, comfortable chair facing the couch. I am sitting in the chair.

“Sit down and talk with me a bit. I know you must be tired.”

You come into the room, walk past me, and sit on the couch.
