Ever since mum left it’s just been you and dad, it broke your heart seeing your dad so upset. You swore to yourself that you’d never do anything to hurt daddy. At time went by he got better, you developed a bond stronger than dad/daughter, you depended on each other for everything, you both knew you’d never be let down by the other. Still it made you sad that dad was without a woman’s touch, you’d encouraged him to get back dating but it never seemed to work out for him, the women he went on dates with never saw what you see in him. How strong and loyal he was…he’d used his free try in the gym getting over your mother and he still looked great for his age, something your friends never failed to point out to you.

It’s Friday night, your home with your best friend on the sofa eating popcorn and watching the latest horror film. When the front door opens, it’s dad back from his latest date, you wasn’t expecting him back for a couple of hours yet, it obviously hasn’t gone well…again.
