You and your roommate were going to go away for the weekend to see your college team play an away game, but they weren't feeling well so you went without them. They weren't expecting you back until late Sunday night, but you ended up getting an earlier train/bus/flight back.

You get back to your room and the roommate isn't there - he might be in the bathroom down the hall or out getting food. It looks like he hasn't been gone long. Lights are on, music is playing, etc.

Anyway you happen to see some stuff out on his desk and curiosity gets the best of you so you go over and look. You see a thermometer labeled "rectal", a tube of KY, and a box of Tylenol suppositories. You're at first shocked that he gets his temperature taken and takes medicine that way. Maybe you're even a little grossed out. But then you surprise yourself by feeling kind of turned on by the idea of what your roommate was doing while you awere away. And maybe he has used those things under the covers while you were in the room before. One one hand you start fantasizing about helping him and on the other you're kind of curious about what it feels like.

You hear a key in the lock and jump away from his desk and go lay down on your bed, a little red faced but playing it cool.

He walks in and is surprised to see you and realizes that he left certain things out and wonders if you saw it. He's pretty embarrassed and self-conscious about it, but it's what he was used to growing up at home and didn't bother to change habits when he turned 18 and left for college.
