For the latter, I am thinking about my character being a new teacher at the school (in the era of the 3rd book/film). She can be a werewolf too, and Lupin discovers about it and gets a bit protective. Or she has been bitten by another werewolf, so she is now suffering from lycanthropy. Remus learns about that and takes care of her.
