My best friend since age 12 lived right around the corner. I practically lived at his house as we grew up. His parents were like aunt and uncle to me.

We grew up both 18 now and he went on to college while I still live at home and got a job at Walmart. He's home to visit on break so we spent the day catching up and playing video games.

We're all in the kitchen while you (his mother) cook dinner. You realize you forgot something and send your husband to get it. He's neglected you physically lately. He's put on weight and getting older. Just not satisfying you anymore.

He takes my friend along on the motor cycle so as they are leaving i excuse myself. But my friend Sam, his dad, and you all insist I stay for dinner. You joke that you won't bite while they're gone. After they leave i sit at the table and we talk a bit. You ask me about work and stuff. Then you say you've gotten a far as you can get and sit down next to me at the table. You look me over.
