Is there a need for a commuter bedroom innthis area?
Post Body

*Sorry for the typo in the title - not wearing my glasses!

I have an extra room in my house, which is a 4 minute (or less) walk from an Orange Line stop on the Metro and runs along a bus line into DC. I have always wanted to rent it to a remote worker who only needs to use it one day a week - but I’m not sure where to advertise short of listing it on AirBnb or something like this.

I also got burned when I took someone in two years ago and they refused to leave after trashing the room, so I’d be likely to be a bit more strict on the “no drugs or drunks” rule.

Do you think there is a need for a room for rent that is sort of off the books and a place I can post about it in more detail, or is this more trouble than it’s worth?
