Overnight parking nearish Reston East Metro, Friday night

I'd be driving into the area arriving about 10:15 AM. Returning late afternoon Saturday. Not using metro. I have been through Reston once, know nothing about it.

Can I really just park at Metro on Friday, then drive out free on Saturday, or do they police the cars there overnight? Does one overnight count as "multi-day"?

See: Multi-day parking: 10 spaces are allocated for multi-day use of up to 10 days. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no charge for multi-day parking beyond the regular fee. Multi-day spaces are located on G7, Yellow Level. Park in spaces signed "Multi-day Parking."

Suggestions? Perhaps for backup plan?
