How many spare notebooks should I have!

Hey y’all! Im going into high school in a few months, and want to get my notebooks prepped. I’ve got 2 b5 books per subject for next year, but I need some spare ones for personal use. How many should I get to last me 3-4 years? Im looking at half to be A5-50 pages and half to be a4-40 pages.
