I suppose we all have our own preferences and uses when looking for a new notebook. There’s a lot of diversity in this sub on the types of notebooks people seem to own. For myself, I look for something that feels really good to write in. From the feel of the cover, to the quality of the paper. I also love notebooks that I know will last a long time, potentially for the rest of my life. So a quality cover and binding are important. I’ve gotten Moleskines for a long time, but have noticed a sharp decrease in paper quality over the years.
I’m curious what you guys look for when you’re adding a new notebook to the collection. Are there features that are must-haves for you? Do you opt for uniqueness, or durability, or simplicity? Are there any notebooks that are ‘home-runs’ to you? And if so, what’s so great about them in your opinion?
