What The Hell Did People Do To Pass The Time In The 1900โ€™s? Especially if frugal/poor?
Post Body

I go on reddit even though I deleted FB and Instagram, and I am near permanently logged off snap and donโ€™t intend on coming back any time soon.

To save money, and because of my social anxiety, (and the fact that everywhere safer in Austin requires a car) I have no issue staying inside.

I can only meditate, go for walks, study, write, and read books so much before I likely will go crazy.

Like, what the hell did people do before and after the work day that is cost effective (besides drinking, smoking, hookah, prostitution, and doing drugs/gambling) like, cost effective but still enjoyable?

Should I get a bowling membership or something?

Maybe tennis, but I am a night person and that can get kinda expensive.

Only martial arts place Iโ€™ve been to never msged me.

But like, what? Like what was the main things people did?

Especially by themselves? Healthy things I mean.

That make sense? Any ideas?
