Can you feel nostalgia for a time you never experienced?

As the title says, is it possible/normal to feel nostalgic to a time which you’ve never experienced? I feel this quite often, and as someone who was born in the 200’s I often find myself having a weird connection to the 90’s. Like I’m nostalgic for a world I only know through movies, music and photos. Particularly when I listen to Bryan Adam’s - Summer of 69 (still love this song). Does anyone else feel this way, or am I just romanticising something that seems better than it actually was?
