All my posts are super far apart I know. Anyone reading this probably has no clue what’s going on, but I happen to suck at updating sorry. Guess I keep forgetting I'm even on here. Also my computer doesn't seem to want to work with me most times so that plays into the issue. Anyways, enough with the rambling. Does anyone remember the giant pulsating heart in my last part? Or whatever that slimy clump of flesh was. There's a lot of crazy things that happen here so don't question anything that seems too strange Well, here’s what happened.

Me and Sage heard intense, raging footsteps violently trudge down the apartment hall behind my door. Soon the unearthly screaming started, and I felt like my ears would pop from the sheer velocity of it. Whatever this thing was, it could at least have the decency to use its inside voice. At first I assumed it was one of our neighbors since they tend to get hangry sometimes, but I was proved wrong when the shadow creature I regret ever seeing came bursting through the door. It pulsated with smoke, and the air became putrid with the smell of death and decay.

“Connor call the cops!” Sage yelled.

“I don’t think that’s gonna help!” I watched as the creature slowly floated towards us, and questioned why no one noticed it come into the building.

“You have what I crave Connor. My food, I must consume, give it to me.” The creature spoke in its usual demonic tone, yet it’s mouth never moved.

“What is it talking about!” Sage screeched in fear, clutching my curtain for support. I swear she was about to break the curtain from its pole, and I wasn’t in the mood to cut any slack. She would pay for any damages she causes weather she likes it or not. I could also tell by her behavior that she wasn’t used to being approached by a hungry monster.

“I think it wants whatever that thing is!” I gestured to the pulsating lump of flesh slowly moving across the now stained carpet. “Also take your crappy meal! You know how expensive it did to clean rugs?!” I couldn’t help my anger toward the creature as it bent down and devoured the flesh. Blood spurt from the pile of slimy meat. Once it was done making a mess of my already crappy apartment, it got up and wiped it’s mouth with a long, claw like hand. It then trudged out the door.

“So you’re just gonna leave like this?” I asked it in furry. “After everything you’ve put us through and the emotional trauma you put on my neighbor’s turtle, you’re just gonna walk out the door and have the audacity to act like nothing happen!”

“Well...yeah, I’ve consumed my meal, which by the way really wasn’t cool of you to hide.” It spoke in a demonic grumble.

“I didn’t even know it was there! If your food was under the floor, then just tell me next time rather than kill of a bunch of my neighbors and threaten to eat me!”

The creature looked embarrassed. “Sorry about that dude, I was just trying to play my part. Ya know? Scary monster? It’s kinda my thing. I won’t eat any more people, but let me know if you see more slimy lumps of flesh okay? I’m trying to cut down on the calories, and they’re good for my digestive issues.” It continued in its low demonic voice.

“I guess so, but I’d rather not see you again anytime soon.” I approached it and slammed the door in its face.

“Rude!” I heard it tell from behind the door before loud footsteps walked away.

Sage trembled in the corner of the room, staring wide eyed at the pile of ooze left on the rug.

“I’ll get the Clorox.” I said in boredom, hearing my bed erupt with screams from the creatures underneath. “Seriously, ya gotta stop yelling all the time!” I hit the bed, and the screaming whimpered then stopped.

It took hours, but we cleaned everything the slimy ooze had touched.

“I don’t ever want to go ghost hunting again. Next time I try to turn us into Ghost Busters, make sure to snap me back to reality okay?” Sage said softly while we sat on the couch and watched TV. I wasn’t paying attention to the content on the TV, but felt inclined to pretend. Anything to get my mind off of what just happened. “I couldn’t stop you from buying all those ghost hunting devices on eBay, so don’t act like I have part in this.”

She looked down saddened. “You’re right, sorry. I put everyone in danger.”

I felt guilty for my word, and didn’t know how to back track. “I-I didn’t mean if like that. Besides, I think us doing that little ghost actually may have solved the issue.”

Sage giggled, grabbing her turtle, William Shellspear from the coffee table who was trying to eat the remote, then pulled him in for a hug. Soon she grabbed me around my neck and pulled me into the embrace as well. I couldn’t help but feel joy at the affection. It was hard to find joy in trying times like these. I came eye to eye with the turtle, then looked at her. I smiled as I ignored the screams from under my bed. Was my life chaotic? Yes. Scary as well. But even then, I still somehow find living here with my neighbor Sage and her turtle fun in away. It’s crazy, but somewhat entertaining being in this haunted road. Was it dangerous to stay in a apartment with a creature who devours tenants every month? Yeah. But I love my home, and I loved Sage who I came to consider a close friend.

I don’t think I’ll be updating any time soon. Maybe I will, maybe I won’t, who knows. I enjoyed spilling my thoughts onto here, so thank you to everyone who listened to me ramble on about my haunted Road. But for now, farewell. Hope you enjoyed hearing my chaotic attempts to stop the Mysteries and Murders of Error Hill Road.
