I don't know if comic books and/or graphic novels are big in Norway, but thought I'd check anyway.
When I started learning Norwegian my initial goal was to at least get to them point where I can read a children's book. I'm still a long way off from that. But I was just recently thinking that perhaps a graphic novel might be a better goal for me personally. They generally have smaller dialogue due to needing to fit things in speech bubbles. Plus, the drawings could help me with context clues when working out what is being said. Yes, a children's book can also do those things, but the story in a graphic novel will likely hold my attention more than a children's book would.
Thanks in advance!
Edit: So many great suggestions from y'all. Only problem I face now is getting those books from Norway to the US. Outland didn't seem to deliver outside Norway and Tronsmo had a 10000 kroner shipping fee. Will keep looking for ways to get them delivered to my country.
