In the south of Belfast city, a guy that I was aware of had his single-digit-aged kids run round from his place to a neighbour's to collect and deliver.
Once, while I was present, Kid A was on hotmail messenger (or whatever it was called - this was a long time ago) as kid B went to collect. In relation to whatever online convo this 8yr old was having, Kid A asked his ma 'Am I a taig or a hun, mammy?', to which her doting mother replied, 'You're a hun, honey.'
I often wonder what became of that family.
Anyone remember "the hatch" up the shankill?

it was basically a shuttered hatch built into the side of a house where you could get gear out of, it was shady as fuck, definitely run by the UDA.
