Major incident in San Marcos or Vista?

I passed 10 to 12 SD Sheriff patrol cruisers running lights heading west on the 78 towards San Marcos or Vista from east of the Rancho Santa Fe exit around 5:50. Their Calls for Service don't list any incidents likely to have such a big response and I'm not finding anything on the news.

I also passed a CHP cruiser and motorcycle, but neither was active, so likely not close to the freeway. Does anyone know anything about this? The helicopter doesn't report being active, but that's usually the case even if I hear it announcing over my house.
