Curious about the snowmobile rail trail in Chisholm

I saw the Chisholm snowmobile trail that follows an old railway line today. There are no trespassing signs (standardized ones along its whole length afaict) on it and signs that say it is only for snowmobiles. Particularly a question to locals to Chisholm: do landowners on the trail actually care if someone walks down it?
