Using vpn for own country, and Netflix..

Using a VPN but it's using servers from my country..
When I log into Netflix with it on my profile disappears and it's a random one .. when I disconnect the VPN it goes back to normal..
Some shows are there when I'm disconnected then when I connect the VPN some shows are not available..
I'm streaming from Canada and the VPN servers I'm using are in Canada it shows....
Am I missing something?
