I have a brand new PC sitting in front of me with a minty fresh install of Windows 10, consequently it boots from cold in around 10 seconds. Then the Nord app starts up and it can take up to 5-6 minutes for it to get to the connected stage.
I unistalled and did a fresh install of the app a couple of days ago and it went back down to about two minutes to get its shit together, but today I am back up to waiting over five minutes again. The app is installed on the NVMe drive along with my OS.
I have the Nord app set to launch minimised at boot-up and autoconnect to my country of choice, but not to any specific server. I am using the Nordlynx protocol.
Any idea what the bottleneck might be here? Its torturously slow and making a mockery of my new setup.
Edit - Have switched to UDP from Nordlynx and startup time has gone from 7 minutes to about 30 seconds!
