NordVPN app crashing on Nvidia Shield

Yesterday I installed the NordVPN app and it was working perfectly fine. Today, I opened the app and it would not connect to a VPN nor show a list of countries. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled, now the app doesn't even open. It either gets stuck on a black screen, the blue screen or it just flashes the blue screen and closes.
Any ideas on how to fix this? The only change made on the Shield between yesterday and today is installing Plex.
