This might be an unpopular opinion and maybe I’ll get downvoted immediately but I’ll try to share it anyway 😅 I think a lot of people are misinterpreting what NNN is supposed to be about. It’s about self control, discipline and not giving in to addictions that a lot of us are living with. It’s about not watching porn, not searching pornographic images and not running or jerk off every time you’re alone in the house. It’s not necessarily about very strictly blue balling yourself for a month and then going back to the way things were on the 1st of December. All the people doing this as part of some chastity, cuckold or other fetish aren’t actually giving up any of their vices. All the people edging to porn constantly are still giving in to their addictions and proving that even when they “can’t nut” they still need the porn. People in a relationship could potentially be hurting their connection by chastising themselves. After a while hormones go crazy too. Which means that the longer this goes on, the more your mind is going to be occupied with sexual gratification. Not nutting for a month straight is actually not healthy for a person. You should be able to relieve yourself but make sure to do it without pornography and as little as possible to keep your mind clear. A lot of people are going to call me an apologist or whatever or a sore loser but I never intended to do NNN in that sense. I’ve been more focused on giving up porn, and keeping sexual activity limited to doing it with my girlfriend. It intensifies a loving relationship and feels much better than torturing myself with orgasm denial. I haven’t been jerking off whenever she’s not home like I used to and it’s a nice break from the porn that infects our minds. But without a break in physical intimacy and gratification which is also important. That’s what I think NNN should really be about and that’s what I will try to keep up even after the month is over.
