I hope this doesn't come off 100% "ENM is superior" but uhh... I keep reading and listening to things people say about their relationships, and almost all the toxic things they say relate to monogamy. I don't want to force ENM on anybody, because hypothetically it is up to the preferences of each individual, but like... beyond mere pragmatism (not enough time), I've never heard a good reason not to engage in ENM that wasn't steeped in toxic expectations from monogamy.
Everybody feels like it's a competition. It's tiresome. After reading the thousandth story on Reddit about jealousy and whatever the fuck, I'm just like, "YOU'RE NOT IN A COMPETITION WITH THE REST OF HUMANITY. YOU ARE JUST YOU, AND THAT'S GREAT." Jesus.
I'm not sure where I'm going with this other than that I really hope somebody reading this realizes they're sufficient as they are.
