Hi guys - I’ve (33M) been a non monogamous relationship for about a year. Monogamous for nearly 5. Haven’t really had too much success dating (few nice dates not nothing much more) but have come to the conclusion that dating (in particular online apps) doesn’t really excite me at the moment l and I was spending a lot of time on it just for the sake of (and probably because my partner is too) and I’ve deleted them (as of today). Definitely makes me feel less anxious.
Just trying to fight the stupid idea that I need to be actively dating to be in a NM relationship. Anyone else any experience with this? Or how to date in a more healthy manner? I am social and have lots of hobbies, but that doesn’t seem to help. I can imagine using online apps again but feel at the moment it just doesn’t work.
