Non-mono after years of mono vs. Non-mono from the start — Any differences in your experience?

Exactly as it says ☝🏼 . All the non-monogamous couples that I know were monogamous for years before they opened up. They are incredibly secure, healthy couples - More stable than most mono couples that I know. For couples that were non-mono from the start, what has your experience been like? Do you think it’s more challenging or easier than being mono first?
