I get it. They're ENM/ Swingers, not Poly.
The grandparents offered to watch the kids last minute. My kids are older and I'm past that, but it wasn't that long ago and I remember.
Message to my partner: M just cancelled our plans for tonight to go out with his wife because the grandparents can watch the kids. I'm not angry and I understand but... 😒
BUT... I was looking forward to seeing him! It's been 3 weeks (it's usually 2-4 weeks, so that's normal). I woke up this morning thinking naughty thoughts about him. And I like him! I wanted to talk the way we do. I even opened Tinder to look at that cute dimply picture.
He agreed that next Tues evening is in Pen, not Pencil. It'll be fine. I'm just disappointed.

I appreciate the sentiment, but it's all good. Their kids are young and the grandparents offered to take them for the night at the last minute .. I remember what it was like when I had little ones.
